End of the Year Wrap Up at Slaters
Hello NGL Fsmilies! NGL is inviting parents and guardians of Nashoba Girls Lacrosse to join us on June 13th at 6:30 at Slater's. We will be having a brief board meeting, and then a reception afterwards for parents and guardians who wish to get involved with our organization. NGL is in desperate need of board members and officers. Volunteers run this league, and without the hard work of our volunteers, we would not have a lacrosse program. We would like to encourage anybody who would even like to take on the smallest task to join us on June 13th. Please come and get to know the parents behind the magic of the season. Please consider joining us on June 13th please RSVP as soon as you can to, so we can order enough pizza, wings, and salad. 😊 Have a great long weekend! Maureen

2017 Annual Meeting and Season Wrap Up
Dear NGL Families, What a great season it has been....
Important 2017 Dates and Season Wrap Up
2017 Annual Meeting and Season Wrap Up

Dear NGL Families,

What a great season it has been. I am having difficulty with words to describe how proud I am of our girls and our league.

Jamboree was a success, and I hope you all had as much fun as I did watching our girls compete alongside some great communities.

NGL is holding our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 13th at Slaters in Bolton. It is open to general membership. In addition to our Annual Meeting, as we had mentioned, we are looking for help on our Board in the way of Officers and Directors. In addition, we are always in need of coaching staff.

We thrive on the participation of parents and volunteers. With no directors, officers, and coaches, there is no league. PLEASE COME and offer any assistance you can give us. Many of our directors and officers are "aging out" in that their players are graduating from NGL and moving on to high school play. PLEASE CONSIDER getting involved. In a previous job I had they used to say, "no voice, no choice" please join us on Tuesday, or send me a direct message if you can not make it.

Full training and support is available if you make a committment.

Thank you, everyone, for a great season.

Important 2017 Dates and Season Wrap Up

NGL Families~

I can hardly believe we are already talking about the last few games and end of the season.

I wanted to send out a brief bullet list of important dates as we wrap it all up for 2017.

May 20th~NRHS Girls Lacrosse Clinic at Nashoba. Get your registration in as soon as possible. Such a great clinic the girls run.

May 24th~NRHS Girls Lacrosse Youth/Senior Night. Come cheer on your favorite high school lacrosse team under the lights and on the turf at 7:00 after Wednesday night practice. Snack shack will be open and our Cheiftains have been rockin this season, let's be the wind beneath their wings.

June 4th~Last games. Make sure grandmas, aunts, second cousins all get to see your athlete at her final turf game this season.

June 10th~Session One of the MBGLL Jamboree 830-330. Bring your Nashoba Spirit and wallet because there is always cool swag to purchase. It can be warm, so lots of water, your favorite sports drink and a comfy sideline chair.

June 13th (tentative) ~ Wrap up event at Slater's~NGL Board would like to invite NGL parents or guardians who are interested in becoming a part of our amazing organization. WE NEED ALL POSITIONS FILLED, so please, please, please consider assisting our league by taking on a role on our Board. We are good people, and with many hands the work is little. We will feed you well that night! Please consider joining us. I am begging you. :)

If you have not yet, please check out our Facebook page and "friend" us. As many of us are on FB, it is a quick way to get out snippits of info, and good for friends to share lacrosse related resources.

Recently, we posted some info about skills and clinic opportunities.

One is this week at the new Mill Works in Westford on THURSDAY of this week. 6:30-8pm. to register

Summer Programs are also available through Central Mass Lacrosse

Laxachusetts also has opportunities

Please note that NGL does not endorse any one of these programs over the other. Currently, many of our older player families participate in summer clinics or programs offered by these private clubs to maintain skills thoughout the year. Maybe someday NGL will be able to offer summer recreation~~~anyone interested in heading it up????

Thank you for all your support and as always, let me know if you have any questions.
